Terms of use

Sets expectations for AI recommendations, account connectors, user content, Shopify checkout, acceptable use, and legal limits.

Plain-language summary

We suggest gifts; users choose and buy.

AI is assistive

Recommendations, cards, and summaries can be inaccurate or unsuitable. They are suggestions, not guarantees.

Checkout is Shopify

Browse and product pages live on presentagent.vip. Checkout, payment, and order terms happen on Shopify.

Context has rules

Users own their notes and grant permission to process them to run, secure, support, and improve the service.

Service scope

What Present Agent provides

AI-assisted gift discovery, chat, wishlists, product browsing, occasion reminders, recipient context, recommendations, gift cards, and checkout routing. The service helps users think; it does not guarantee a perfect gift.

Accounts

Connectors need consent

Some features work without an account. Saving context, dashboards, and Google connectors require authentication. Users can revoke Calendar, Contacts, or Gmail in Trust and through Google permissions.

User content

Users own what they provide

Users keep ownership of gift notes, recipient details, wishlists, chat, and feedback. Present Agent needs a license to host, process, transform, display, and use that content to run and improve the service.

AI output

Review before relying on it

AI output may be incomplete, wrong, or unsuitable. Product availability, delivery timing, and recipient taste can change. The final gift decision and purchase remain the user’s responsibility.

Commerce

Shopping, checkout, returns

Present Agent hosts discovery. Shopify handles checkout and payment. Prices, taxes, shipping, delivery estimates, warranties, return windows, and refund outcomes are confirmed at checkout or order level and can vary by merchant.

Acceptable use

Protect people and the service

No illegal use, harassment, impersonation, scraping, reverse engineering, security bypassing, deceptive content, or use of recommendations for regulated decisions like credit, employment, housing, insurance, legal, or medical decisions.

Standard legal terms

Includes IP, third parties, changes, disclaimers, liability, and Quebec law.
